    Description

    The Icy Dock MB994SP-4SB-1 is a full metal hot swap backplane RAID cage designed to securely house four 2.5-inch SATA SSDs or HDDs with heights up to 15mm in a single 5.25-inch device bay. Featuring a SATA 6Gbps interface, this cage supports SATA I/II/III drives and includes dual 40mm cooling fans for optimal thermal management. Its robust metal construction ensures durability in demanding environments such as medical and military systems, media servers, industrial PCs, HTPCs, and all-in-one computers. Each drive tray is equipped with an LED indicator for easy drive status monitoring, while the included EZ Slide Mini Trays enable quick and flexible drive interchangeability between compatible Icy Dock products. A power switch provides additional control and flexibility for system management.
